Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic turned heads this week after being seen behind the wheel of a Rimac Nevera, a rare electric hypercar valued at $2 million.
The sighting comes just days after Doncic signed a three-year, $165 million extension with the Lakers, cementing his future with the franchise.
The 26-year-old guard is currently in Slovenia as part of the national team’s training camp for EuroBasket 2025, which tips off next summer.
Video footage of Doncic driving the high-performance vehicle surfaced online and quickly went viral.
The Rimac Nevera, produced by Croatian manufacturer Rimac Automobili, boasts 1,914 horsepower and can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under two seconds.
Only 150 units of the Nevera have been manufactured, making it one of the most exclusive and expensive electric vehicles on the market.
Doncic, already known for his interest in luxury cars, appears to have added the Nevera to his growing collection of high-end vehicles.
Since being traded to Los Angeles earlier this year, Doncic has continued to draw significant media interest both on and off the court.
