Bones Hyland has emerged as a top target for EuroLeague contenders Crvena Zvezda and Olympiacos, according to a report by Matteo Andreani.

The Serbian club has made a “significant offer” for the 24-year-old guard, who is currently an NBA free agent after finishing the 2024–25 season on a two-way deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Hyland, known for his deep shooting range and quick scoring ability, is also being monitored by Greek powerhouse Olympiacos, which has expressed serious interest in acquiring him.

Crvena Zvezda has already added Devonte’ Graham this offseason and is pushing for another high-profile signing as it reshapes its backcourt ahead of the new EuroLeague campaign.

Hyland has not received any firm offers from NBA teams as of now, according to Andreani’s report. That has opened the door for top-tier European clubs to make aggressive pitches.

The former VCU standout was waived by the Atlanta Hawks in February shortly after being traded from the Los Angeles Clippers.

He later signed a two-way deal with Minnesota, where he appeared in four games but saw limited minutes behind the Timberwolves’ established guard rotation.

Across four NBA seasons, Hyland has played 186 regular season games for the Denver Nuggets, Clippers, and Timberwolves, averaging 9.5 points and 2.6 assists in 17.1 minutes per game.

His most productive NBA stretch came during the 2022–23 campaign, when he posted 11.8 points and 3.1 assists while splitting time between Denver and Los Angeles.

Hyland also has 13 playoff appearances under his belt, though his postseason role diminished over time.
