Terry Rozier currently holds very little trade value, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

In his view, it’s unlikely that any team would pursue Rozier in a deal unless the Heat included an additional asset, such as a draft pick or a young player, to make the trade more appealing.

Unfortunately for Miami, that option is limited.

They’ve already sent a future first-round pick to the Charlotte Hornets as part of the original trade to acquire Rozier, reducing their ability to sweeten any potential offer.

Given that limitation, Winderman believes there are only a couple of realistic paths if the Heat were to explore moving Rozier.

One possibility is that a team might be interested in his expiring contract, using it to clear future cap space by sending back a player with a longer-term deal.

Another scenario could see Rozier included as part of a larger, multi-player or multi-team trade where his salary helps balance the financial mechanics of a more significant move.

Still, on his own, Rozier is not seen as a strong asset on the trade market at this time.
