One of the standout qualities that quickly earned Vladislav Goldin the admiration of the Miami Heat coaching staff during his Summer League stint was his relentless energy and work ethic, commonly referred to as his “motor.”
As reported by Anthony Chiang of the Miami Herald, Goldin’s effort level was something that didn’t go unnoticed.
Heat assistant coach Eric Glass, who served as the team’s head coach during Summer League, praised the undrafted big man’s physicality and intensity.
“Vlad was really good for us,” Glass said. “He plays with such unbelievable effort. He’s physical, he’s aggressive – the kind of guy you want to keep on the floor as long as possible.
“But the reality is, he goes so hard that he sometimes wears himself out. And that’s part of what makes him so valuable to us.”
Goldin, who played college basketball at the University of Michigan, made a strong impression despite being overlooked in the draft.
In six Summer League games, he averaged a solid 9.2 points and 4.8 rebounds, showcasing both hustle and potential as a high-energy big man off the bench.
Terry Rozier‘s trade value is practically non-existent. That + more notes on the Heat. https://t.co/T8qovGMIhk
