Minnesota Timberwolves president of basketball operations Tim Connelly believes that Terrence Shannon Jr. will continue to grow next season (averaged 22.7 PPG/6.0 RPG/5.0 APG/1.7 SPG/47.6% FG/38.5% 3-PT/94.7% FT/+7.7 +/- in three NBA 2K26 Summer League games).

(via July 15th NBA TV Summer League broadcast- Minnesota Timberwolves vs. Detroit Pistons):

“We think he has the ability to be an elite two-way player — toughness, approach to the game, work ethic is through the roof. And he’s such a downhill guy — sometimes we get a little stagnant offensively and play too much in the half-court — he’ll force you to play fast. And just an A+ guy, nobody works harder. I think you’ll see an emerging three-point shooter. We’re really gonna challenge him defensively  — he’s got the size to guard several positions and he’s so competitive. So we think the sky’s the limit, we got very lucky.”
