Milwaukee Bucks president Peter Feigin publicly addressed growing speculation about Giannis Antetokounmpo’s future, emphasizing confidence in the team’s relationship with the two-time MVP despite mounting outside interest.

“We kind of laugh internally. It’s where we’ve been for ten years. Giannis loves Milwaukee, Milwaukee loves Giannis. We’re in a good place. We feel great about it,” Feigin said on NBA TV.

His comments come as ESPN’s Brian Windhorst reported that San Antonio, Houston, Miami, and New York are keeping a close watch on Milwaukee’s offseason, preparing for the possibility of a trade request.

Feigin insisted that the organization remains calm, calling the external chatter “clickbait” and reiterating that Antetokounmpo is enjoying his summer. “It’s business as usual. I think we kind of have a fun little joy in everybody else thinking they know what’s going on. But for us we’re in a good spot,” he added.

The Bucks’ postseason struggles and limited roster flexibility have fueled speculation that the franchise may not be able to contend at the highest level next season. Milwaukee has just one tradable first-round pick over the next five years, a point Windhorst highlighted as a significant obstacle.

Antetokounmpo is under contract through 2027 with a player option in 2027–28 but has not made any public demands. According to Windhorst, he has spent the offseason overseas with family and has not applied pressure on the front office.

Windhorst also noted that teams like Houston preserved trade assets even after acquiring Kevin Durant, anticipating a potential opportunity to pursue Antetokounmpo.

“In Houston’s case, [they] saved assets in the Durant trade to potentially chase Giannis,” Windhorst explained, adding that other teams, such as San Antonio, Miami, and New York, have also kept themselves flexible.

For now, the Bucks are preparing for the upcoming season with Antetokounmpo leading the roster. Feigin concluded, “Giannis is in a good place, he’s enjoying the summer. We’re looking forward to next season.”
