Sacramento Kings 2025 #42 pick Maxime Raynaud recently spoke about his confident scoring ability/defensive focus.

(via Sactown Sports 1140):

On how his scoring will translate to the NBA: “Let the game come to you, to be honest. I feel like you shoot way more threes in the NBA. That’s something I was doing last year, so that’s gonna translate pretty well. And then even though you don’t have as many mismatches because everybody is bigger and stronger — I’ll get bigger and stronger, too. But for now, just trying to focus on the defensive end. I think that’s the biggest room of improvement I’m gonna have, and then offense will take care of itself. I’m not worried about it.”

Areas he’s focusing on defensively: “Conditioning. Being aggressive on the ball. Ball screen defense. And mostly anchoring with just talk. I think that’s the biggest thing when you’re the big, you’re kinda like the quarterback of the defense. And then obviously, you want to finish the possession with the right guy.”
