Sacramento Kings head coach Doug Christie believes that Maxime Raynaud learns each game/is deserving of possible All-Rookie honors (averaging 10.1 PPG/7.0 RPG/1.1 APG/0.5 SPG/0.5 BPG/1.0 TOV/55.0% FG/58.6% 2-PT/25.6% 3-PT/76.7% FT/23.9 MPG in 51 games played).

“He’s getting the opportunity. And when he gets the opportunity, it’s about making the most out of your opportunity. He’s going out there, I think that he learns nightly. I’ll watch things where he’ll do something, and then a game later, he will adjust and do something different. I think that we’re seeing ability to play through him as he continues to grow: DHO’s, passing from the elbows and the high-post, understanding how to set screens and chest the ball and roll, and just a confidence that he’s showing. So he’s deserving of any and all awards that he gets, because the kid has played some really good basketball in spite of all the things that we’ve gone through.”
