The Toronto Raptors have signed rookie guard Alijah Martin to a two-way deal, according to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype. Martin was selected 39th overall in the second round of the 2025 NBA Draft after a standout college career.

Martin helped the University of Florida capture the 2025 NCAA national championship, capping off a memorable season with the Gators. He averaged 14.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.5 steals per game during his lone year in Gainesville.

Before transferring to Florida, Martin spent four seasons at Florida Atlantic, where he played a crucial role in leading the program to its first Final Four in 2023. Over his college career, he earned First-Team All-Conference USA honors and was named Conference USA Tournament MVP in 2023.

Martin’s college résumé includes several notable performances, such as a 32-point outburst against Southern Illinois and a 17-point showing against Auburn in the 2025 Final Four. In the championship game versus Houston, he contributed seven points to secure Florida’s third national title.

The 6-foot-2 shooting guard from Mississippi demonstrated consistent scoring, defensive intensity, and versatility throughout his five-year college tenure. His steady improvement and ability to perform in big moments made him an attractive prospect for Toronto.

As part of his two-way contract, Martin will split time between the Raptors and their G League affiliate, where he will have an opportunity to develop his game while contributing at the NBA level when needed.
