The Philadelphia 76ers are making a roster adjustment by signing forward Dominick Barlow to a Two-Way contract, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto.
To make room for Barlow, the Sixers are waiving Alex Reese, who had previously occupied one of the team’s Two-Way spots.
Barlow, a 6-foot-9 forward, spent last season with the Atlanta Hawks, appearing in 35 games and contributing 4.2 points and 2.4 rebounds per game in limited minutes (10.7 per game).
While not a major rotation player, he showed flashes of potential, especially with his energy and athleticism off the bench.
The 22-year-old went undrafted in 2022 after playing in the Overtime Elite developmental league, a path becoming increasingly common among young NBA prospects.
Since then, Barlow has been working to establish himself as a consistent NBA contributor, and this new opportunity with the 76ers offers him a fresh chance to carve out a role.
Two-Way contracts allow players to split time between an NBA team and its G League affiliate.
With the Sixers, Barlow will likely see action with both the main roster and their G League team, the Delaware Blue Coats, as he continues to develop.
