Jordan Clarkson has reached an agreement with the New York Knicks on a one-year contract worth $3.6 million, which is the veteran’s minimum salary.
This deal comes just days after Clarkson finalized a buyout with the Utah Jazz, making him a free agent.
The 33-year-old guard had one year left on the three-year, $55 million renegotiate-and-extend deal he signed with Utah in 2023 but chose to explore other opportunities after parting ways with the team.
Clarkson, represented by agents Rich Paul and Brandon Cavanaugh, was a productive scorer off the bench last season despite being limited to 37 games.
He averaged 16.2 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 3.7 assists in 26.0 minutes per contest.
The Knicks are adding Clarkson to boost their second-unit scoring and provide backcourt depth following postseason injuries and guard departures.
He is expected to slot in as an instant-offense option behind Jalen Brunson and Josh Hart, helping stabilize New York’s bench rotation heading into the upcoming season.
