Jake LaRavia signs two-year, $12M Lakers deal

Small forward Jake LaRavia has reached an agreement with the Los Angeles Lakers on a two-year contract worth $12 million.

LaRavia entered free agency after the Memphis Grizzlies chose not to pick up the fourth-year option on his deal. At the trade deadline, he was traded to the Sacramento Kings.

During the 2024-25 season, LaRavia appeared in 66 games, averaging 6.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 2.4 assists per game while shooting 42.3% from beyond the arc.

The Lakers expect LaRavia to help fill the void left by Dorian Finney-Smith, who recently signed a four-year, $53 million contract with the Houston Rockets early in free agency.

LaRavia’s new contract with the Lakers is fully guaranteed.
