AS Monaco has officially signed American center Kevarrius Hayes on a two-year deal, adding size, athleticism, and EuroLeague experience to its frontcourt.

The 28-year-old joins the Roca Team after a strong campaign with Paris Basketball, where he averaged 6.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.0 steal, and 0.8 blocks in 20 minutes per game during the 2023–24 EuroLeague season.

Hayes helped lead Paris to an impressive 19-15 record in its debut EuroLeague season, finishing eighth in the standings and just behind Monaco, which secured the fourth seed at 21-13.

Born in Florida, Hayes developed through four seasons at the University of Florida, improving steadily from his freshman to senior year. As a senior, he posted 8.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in 25 minutes per game.

He began his professional career in Italy with Pallacanestro Canuù, where he led the Lega Basket Serie A in blocks and ranked among the top rebounders.

After a limited role at ASVEL in the 2020–21 season, Hayes reestablished himself in Turkey with Bursaspor. His performances there led to a two-year stint with Zalgiris Kaunas in the EuroLeague from 2022 to 2024.

Hayes now returns to France with Monaco, aiming to help the club compete for the EuroLeague title after back-to-back playoff appearances.
