Chicago Bulls guard Jevon Carter will remain with the team through the 2025-26 season after picking up his $6.8 million player option, according to a report by Jake Fischer.
The 29-year-old guard is entering the final year of a three-year, $19.5 million deal signed with Chicago in 2023.
Carter appeared in 36 games for the Bulls during the 2024-25 regular season, making just one start while averaging 8.9 minutes per game.
He posted averages of 4.3 points, 1.1 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 37.7% from the field and 33.3% from three-point range.
Chicago ended the 2024-25 campaign ninth in the Eastern Conference with a 39–43 record before being eliminated in the Play-In Tournament by the Miami Heat.
The Bulls missed the postseason for a second straight year and enter the offseason facing multiple questions about roster construction and direction.
Carter served primarily as a reserve option in the backcourt behind Coby White and Ayo Dosunmu.
He was originally drafted in 2018 and has played for Memphis, Phoenix, Brooklyn, Milwaukee, and Chicago.
