After limping out of the post-game press conference following Game 2, the Indian Pacers star Tyrese Haliburton raised concerns about a possible injury setback.
However, the Pacers’ All-Star guard quickly reassured fans and reporters during Tuesday’s media availability, confirming he participated fully in practice and downplaying the issue.
“I’m fine. Really just a lower leg thing. I’ll leave it at that,” Haliburton said, via Scott Agness of Fieldhouse Files. “I don’t think there’s anything more to elaborate. I feel fine and I’ll be ready to go for Game 3.”
According to ESPN’s Jamal Collier, Haliburton showed no limitations during the team session, easing fears of any major injury heading into a pivotal Game 3 matchup against the Thunder.
While the “lower leg thing” wasn’t disclosed in detail, Haliburton’s full participation and confident tone suggest he’ll remain a central figure in Indiana’s push to take control of the series.
Haliburton has played 5 seasons for the Pacers and Kings. He has averaged 17.5 points, 8.8 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 333 regular-season games. He was selected to play in 2 All-Star games.
