Tyrese Haliburton took a major step in his recovery on Wednesday, revealing on social media that he has resumed five-on-five play for the first time since tearing his Achilles during the 2025 NBA Finals.

The Indiana Pacers star is now roughly 41 weeks into the rehab process.

Getting back to full-court action is an important milestone, and both Haliburton and the Pacers believe he’ll be ready to fully participate in training camp later this year.

By comparison, Jayson Tatum returned from a similar injury in about 43 weeks.

With Indiana’s season ending soon, Haliburton is now expected to make his return during the 2026 preseason.
