While the future of Miles Bridges remains uncertain amid trade speculation, the veteran forward appears committed to playing a larger leadership role in Charlotte.

According to The Charlotte Observer, Bridges plans to stay local during the offseason and organize voluntary team workouts, a move that head coach Charles Lee views as pivotal for the culture the team is trying to build.

“I love that Miles wants to spearhead that,” Lee said. “I think a big part of any type of culture or organization is your best players kind of driving things forward.”

Bridges, who was considered a trade candidate at the 2024 deadline, appears determined to foster accountability and professionalism within the locker room.

“He’s kind of set a tone from last year and he wants to continue that ball rolling forward in terms of what work ethic looks like, what professional habits look like,” Lee added.

Whether or not Bridges is part of Charlotte’s long-term future, his influence in the short term could help set a standard for the young core as they enter another pivotal offseason.
