After exploring his NBA prospects during the pre-draft process this spring, Vanderbilt junior forward Devin McGlockton has decided to return to college for his senior season.

According to CBS Sports’ Jon Rothstein (via Twitter), McGlockton will withdraw his name from the 2025 NBA Draft and rejoin the Commodores for one more year.

Although McGlockton was not listed among ESPN’s top 100 draft prospects for 2025, he put together a solid junior campaign, showcasing his potential as a dependable frontcourt contributor.

During the 2024–25 season, he averaged 10.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks per game while shooting an efficient 56.8% from the field, 33.8% from three-point range, and 66.7% from the free-throw line.

By returning for his senior year, McGlockton will have the opportunity to continue refining his game, improve his draft stock, and take on a leadership role for Vanderbilt as they aim to climb the SEC standings in 2025–26.
