Questions continue to swirl around Andrew Wiggins and whether his stint with the Miami Heat will be short-lived.

Acquired at the trade deadline, Wiggins brought defense and experience but didn’t move the needle significantly for the playoff-bound squad.

According to The Sun Sentinel’s Ira Winderman, there’s a “50-50 proposition” that the veteran forward is moved again this offseason.

Wiggins’ contract – worth $28.2 million for the 2025–26 season – would be a key piece in any significant trade package, especially if the Heat pursue a high-impact addition. He also holds a $30.2 million player option for the following year.

Wiggins has played 11 seasons for the Warriors, Timberwolves, and Heat. He has averaged 18.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 2.3 assists in 766 regular-season games.

He was selected to play in 1 All-Star game. He has won the Rookie of the Year award and 1 NBA championship.
