Up the road in Orlando, the Magic rookie forward Tristan Da Silva gave the team meaningful minutes throughout the season, appearing in 74 games and starting 38 of them.

He averaged 7.2 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists in his debut campaign and remained in the rotation even after Franz Wagner returned from injury.

But for Da Silva, the NBA was more than just stats – it was an endurance test.

“It’s definitely a whole new deal,” Da Silva told The Orlando Sentinel’s Jason Beede. “You’ve never played that many games before in your life, traveled that much and been exposed to so many things all at once.”

He added, “At some point in the season – you can call it a rookie wall or whatever you want – there’s definitely a moment during the season where you feel tired physically and mentally, and the real challenge is digging through that and making sure that you’re coming out on the other end. And that’s what I did with the focus on work and trusting the process.”
