Detroit Pistons guard Jaden Ivey, whose strong start to the season helped fuel the team’s turnaround, remains a crucial piece of the franchise’s future.

Pistons president Trajan Langdon expressed excitement about Ivey’s development and the prospect of him continuing to improve in his third season.

Ivey had an impressive first two months of the season and showed that he could make an impact on both ends of the floor.

Langdon is eager to see how Ivey’s summer training program will further enhance his game, especially as the team looks to build on its success from the past season.

“He had an incredible first two months of the season and he helped this turnaround… I’m excited to see what his summer looks like and what he’s gonna look like coming back in the fall as well. He’s a guy that impacts the game on both ends of the floor and in-between and in transition. Adding him to the roster we have, I think, will create an even more explosive dynamic and something else that our coaches and players can use to help us win games and have even more success. I think he’s going to come back a better version than he was last year.”

Ivey has played 3 seasons for the Pistons. He has averaged 16.1 points, 4.4 assists, and 3.7 rebounds in 181 regular-season games.
