According to Michael Scotto of HoopsHype, Washington Wizards assistant coach Adam Caporn is emerging as a potential candidate for the Phoenix Suns’ head coaching vacancy, joining the growing list of names being considered as the franchise looks to replace Mike Budenholzer.

Caporn’s name has started to generate interest across the league, thanks in part to his diverse coaching background and international experience.

Before joining the Wizards, Caporn spent time within the Brooklyn Nets organization, where he served both as the head coach of their G League affiliate, the Long Island Nets, and later as an assistant coach with the NBA team.

His player development work during that period earned him recognition for helping young talent grow and adapt to the league.

In addition to his NBA credentials, Caporn was recently appointed as the head coach of the Australian national team, further elevating his profile in international basketball circles.

His mix of G League, NBA, and international experience makes him an intriguing option for the Suns organization seeking fresh leadership and a new direction following Budenholzer’s departure.
