Jalen Green recently opened up about his struggles on the court, candidly acknowledging that he hasn’t been playing up to his usual standard this season.
Reflecting on his performance, Green admitted that he’s felt out of rhythm and hasn’t quite looked like the dynamic player fans are used to seeing.
“I don’t think I’ve played good at all, for real,” he said. “I had one solid game at home that felt like me, but outside of that, I really haven’t been myself.”
Green, known for his explosive scoring and athleticism, emphasized that while the slump is frustrating, he’s viewing it as a learning opportunity, especially since it’s part of his first experience in this particular situation, perhaps referencing a new role or postseason play.
“But that’s okay,” he continued. “It’s all part of the process. This is a first-time experience for me. I just have to get back to being aggressive and stop overthinking everything out there.”
Green has played 4 seasons for the Houston Rockets. He has averaged 20.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in 307 regular-season games.
