University of Houston point guard Milos Uzan has officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft as an early entrant while preserving his college eligibility. Uzan has left the door open for a potential return to Houston, indicating that he will come back to school if he chooses to withdraw his name from the draft pool before the NCAA’s deadline.
In his debut season with the Cougars, the 6-foot-4 junior made an immediate impact, posting averages of 11.4 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 4.2 assists per game. Uzan displayed efficient scoring ability, shooting 45% from the field and an impressive 43% from beyond the arc on 3.6 three-point attempts per contest.
According to ESPN’s most recent mock draft, Uzan is currently projected to be selected in the middle of the second round, though his stock could rise depending on pre-draft workouts and evaluations.
Uzan played a key role in Houston’s deep postseason run, helping lead the Cougars to the NCAA Tournament championship game, where they ultimately fell to the Florida Gators. His strong performance on a national stage likely bolstered his draft prospects and added to his growing profile as a promising NBA prospect.
With the option to return to college if the draft process doesn’t unfold to his satisfaction, Uzan now enters a critical evaluation period that will help determine whether he’ll launch his professional career this summer or return to Houston to build on a standout junior season.
