Milos Uzan has officially withdrawn his name from consideration for the 2025 NBA Draft, opting instead to return to college for his senior season with the University of Houston.
Uzan had been listed as an early entry candidate but ultimately chose to continue developing his game at the collegiate level.
Before his withdrawal, Uzan was ranked 41st overall on ESPN’s Top 100 prospects list, which projected him as a likely early-to-mid second-round selection in the upcoming draft.
While he had a strong case to be drafted, the decision to return likely reflects a desire to elevate his stock further while competing for a national title.
Last season, Uzan played in 40 games for the Cougars, putting up averages of 11.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 3.0 assists per game.
Standing at 6-foot-4, Uzan showcased notable efficiency, shooting an impressive 45.3% from the field and 42.8% from three-point range.
Houston is expected to be a powerhouse once again in the upcoming NCAA season and may even begin the year ranked No. 1 in the nation.
After making it to the NCAA championship game last season, the Cougars are poised for another deep tournament run.
Uzan’s return bolsters a core that includes key returners like Emanuel Sharp and Joseph Tugler, alongside a highly touted incoming recruiting class.
NCAA players have until Wednesday, May 28, at 11:59 PM ET to withdraw from the 2025 NBA Draft and maintain their college eligibility.
Uzan’s decision was finalized ahead of that deadline, giving the Cougars a major boost heading into what could be a title-contending season.
