The Boston Celtics have added two young guards to their offseason roster, signing Tucker DeVries and Milos Uzan to Exhibit 10 contracts, league source Keith Smith reported Wednesday.

Exhibit 10 contracts are non-guaranteed training camp agreements that allow teams to evaluate players before the regular season. Most players signed to these deals eventually join the franchise’s G League affiliate after training camp.

DeVries joins Boston after a five-year college career that included stops at Drake, West Virginia and Indiana. The 6-foot-7 guard averaged 16.8 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.7 assists across 144 career college games while shooting 42.8% from the field and 35.9% from three-point range.

The son of Drake head coach Darian DeVries, Tucker DeVries became one of the top scorers in the Missouri Valley Conference during his time with the Bulldogs. He averaged 21.6 points, 6.7 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the 2023-24 season before transferring to West Virginia, where he recorded 14.9 points in eight games.

In his final college season at Indiana in 2025-26, DeVries played 32 games and averaged 13.7 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists. He shot 39.7% overall, 33.3% from three-point range on 7.7 attempts per game and 85.9% from the free-throw line.

Uzan arrives after four seasons between Oklahoma and Houston. The 6-foot-4 guard appeared in 141 college games, averaging 9.9 points, 3.9 assists and 3.0 rebounds while shooting 41.9% from the field and 36.4% from three-point range.

Uzan spent his final two seasons at Houston, where he became a full-time starter. In 2025-26, he started all 37 games and averaged 11.1 points, 4.0 assists and 2.7 rebounds while shooting 38.0% from the field and 34.3% from beyond the arc.

The signings come as Boston continues reshaping its roster following a major offseason transition. The Celtics traded All-Star forward Jaylen Brown to the Philadelphia 76ers on July 1 in exchange for Paul George, two first-round picks and two second-round selections.

Boston has since focused on balancing veteran additions with younger development pieces. The Celtics signed Mitchell Robinson to a three-year, $47.4 million contract and added veteran point guard Mike Conley on a one-year deal, while also extending center Neemias Queta on a four-year, $56 million contract.

The Celtics finished the 2025-26 regular season with a 56-26 record, earning the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference. However, they were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs by the 76ers after losing a seven-game series despite holding a 3-1 lead.

Boston already added forward Chris Cenac Jr. with the No. 27 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft and selected forward Dillon Mitchell in the second round. DeVries and Uzan will now compete for training camp opportunities as the Celtics continue building depth around Jayson Tatum, Paul George and their young core.
