Phoenix Suns small forward Ryan Dunn delivered a standout performance on Friday night, registering the best game of his rookie season.
As Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic notes, Dunn scored a career-high 26 points and also matched his career-best with 11 rebounds, showcasing his all-around growth.
The player’s confidence in his shooting has notably increased throughout the season, and this was evident in his 11 three-point attempts during the game.
His willingness to take those shots, coupled with his improving consistency, has become a key part of his game as the season progresses.
Reflecting on his performance, Dunn shared the mindset that has driven his recent success: “Just trusting my shot, just trusting my work, being aggressive on the offensive glass,” he explained.
He also credited his ability to score in different ways, adding, “Got some tip-ins, got to the free-throw line.”
Dunn’s aggressive approach on both ends of the floor was key to his impressive night, as he continues to build on his rookie campaign and develop into a more complete player.
