Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, a veteran shooting guard, had been known for his consistent three-point shooting over the previous five seasons leading up to the 2024/25 campaign.

As of the end of February, through the first 58 games of the season, Caldwell-Pope was converting just 30.6% of his three-pointers, a figure that would have marked a career low if it had persisted.
Despite this early-season struggle, the veteran guard has shown marked improvement since the beginning of March, according to Jason Beede of The Orlando Sentinel.
Over the past 16 games, Caldwell-Pope has been on fire, shooting an impressive 50.0% from deep.
This recent surge in shooting efficiency has given the Magic a much-needed offensive boost, and the team is counting on his ability to maintain this hot streak as they look toward postseason contention.
With the Magic’s playoff hopes still hanging in the balance, Caldwell-Pope’s revitalized outside shooting is now seen as a crucial element for their success in the final stretch of the season.
