Here’s Toronto Raptors head coach Darko Rajakovic on what he thinks has attributed to Ja’Kobe Walter’s productive play as of late (averaging 14.5 PPG/4.3 RPG/3.2 APG/1.7 SPG/43.9% FG/51.5% 3-PT/100% FT/+3.2 +/- over his last six games).

(via TJ Sports USA):

“A lot of work that he’s putting in. Very coachable player, very coachable player. He picks up on a lot of details, a lot of stuff that we are teaching him offensively, defensively. He’s been putting a lot of work in his shot, making sure that he’s shooting those shots on balance. And as you can see, his percentages are rising. He also added 8-9 pounds of mass, of getting bigger, stronger — which really helps him in contact offensively and defensively. And he’s just fearless on both ends of the floor. He’s not shying away to pick up full-court, to guard primary guys on the opposing teams. He’s guarding 1 through 4’s pretty much every single night. So putting (in) a lot of work there and really emerging, I think that’s the right word there.”
