Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero led the Orlando Magic past the Los Angeles Lakers with a combined 62 points in a 118-106 victory on Monday night.

Wagner scored 32 points and dished out eight assists, while Banchero added 30 points and grabbed seven rebounds to help Orlando (34-38) snap a six-game home losing streak.

The Lakers (43-28) suffered their third straight defeat, slipping into a tie for fourth place in the Western Conference standings with idle Memphis.

Luka Doncic led Los Angeles with 32 points, while LeBron James contributed 24 points and eight assists. The Lakers have now lost seven of their last 10 games.

Austin Reaves scored 17 points, including eight in the first quarter, as Los Angeles built a nine-point lead late in the first half. However, the Magic dominated the third quarter 34-18 to seize control of the game.

Anthony Black provided a key spark off the bench for Orlando, finishing with 17 points, five rebounds, and six assists.

The Lakers trimmed a 17-point deficit to seven with 5:40 remaining, but Wagner and Banchero combined for Orlando’s next 10 points to push the lead back to double digits.

Orlando shot 49.4% from the field and made 15 three-pointers while committing just nine turnovers.
