The Toronto Raptors ended a four-game skid with a 112-104 victory over the Washington Wizards on Monday night. Jakob Poeltl led the way with 21 points and 11 rebounds as Toronto improved to 25-47.

Immanuel Quickley also scored 21 points and dished out seven assists, while Scottie Barnes contributed 13 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. The Raptors held off Washington down the stretch, pulling away late behind key baskets from Ochai Agbaji and A.J. Lawson.

The Wizards (15-56) dropped their fifth straight game despite 23 points from Jordan Poole. Rookie AJ Johnson added 17 points, while Carlton Carrington recorded a double-double with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and six assists.

Washington suffered an early setback when Keyonte George exited the game with a left ankle sprain while battling for a rebound.

Poeltl played a major role in Toronto’s first-half success, scoring 12 points to help the Raptors take a 52-50 lead at the break. The game remained close until the fourth quarter when Toronto built a double-digit advantage.

Toronto shot 40.6% from the field and made 10-of-36 three-point attempts. Poeltl was highly efficient, finishing 10-for-13 from the floor while adding three blocks. The Raptors also won the rebounding battle, securing 60 boards compared to Washington’s 48.

The Wizards struggled at the free-throw line, making just 23-of-34 attempts (67.6%).
