The Atlanta Hawks secured a 124-115 victory over the Golden State Warriors on Saturday night, capitalizing on the absence of Stephen Curry.

Trae Young recorded 25 points and 10 assists for his 41st double-double of the season as Atlanta improved to 34-36.

Georges Niang contributed 23 points on 6-of-9 shooting from beyond the arc, while Onyeka Okongwu added 20 points and 12 rebounds.

Golden State, playing without Curry due to a pelvic contusion, suffered just its third loss since the All-Star break, falling to 41-30.

Jimmy Butler led the Warriors with 25 points, while Moses Moody finished with 20 points. Brandin Podziemski added 19 points, shooting 5-of-8 from deep.

The Hawks controlled the game from the outset, leading for all but 11 seconds after falling behind 3-0. They built a 22-point advantage and maintained control despite a late push from Golden State.

Niang’s three-pointer early in the fourth quarter extended Atlanta’s lead to 21 points at 106-85, igniting the home crowd.

With the win, the Hawks remain in seventh place in the Eastern Conference, strengthening their position for a Play-In Tournament spot.
