Zion Williamson will be absent from the New Orleans Pelicans’ game on Friday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves due to a back contusion.
The star forward delivered an impressive performance against the Timberwolves on Wednesday, tallying 29 points while making 12 of his 16 shot attempts.
Throughout the season, Williamson has been a key contributor for the Pelicans, maintaining an average of 24.6 points and 7.2 rebounds per game throughout 30 appearances.
