The Milwaukee Bucks announced that Jericho Sims underwent surgery on Monday to repair a torn ligament in his right thumb. The procedure was successful, and Sims is now set to begin his recovery process.
The team expects Sims to be sidelined for approximately four weeks as he rehabilitates from the injury. He sustained the ligament tear during Saturday’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers, forcing him out of action.
Since being traded to the Bucks, Sims has appeared in 14 games, contributing as a rotational big man. He has averaged 2.4 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 15.0 minutes per game, providing depth to Milwaukee’s frontcourt.
