Denver Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder after logging just 6 minutes and 44 seconds on the court.

The veteran forward experienced a recurrence of calf soreness, an issue that has plagued him throughout the season and caused him to miss multiple games.

Following the game, Nuggets head coach Michael Malone stated that he did not yet have an update on the severity of Gordon’s latest setback.

This injury comes shortly after Gordon returned from a three-game absence, during which he recovered from similar discomfort.

In his first game back on Friday, he played a significant 39 minutes in Denver’s victory over the Phoenix Suns.

Injuries have been a recurring theme for Gordon this season, as he has now missed 26 of the team’s 64 games.

Earlier in the year, he was sidelined for 10 games in November before missing an additional nine contests between late December and mid-January.

As the Nuggets push toward the postseason, they will closely monitor Gordon’s condition, hoping to have him fully healthy for the critical stretch ahead.
