The Toronto Raptors have bolstered their frontcourt by signing center Orlando Robinson to a 10-day contract. The team, currently 14th in the Eastern Conference with a 10-32 record, made the announcement on Saturday. As is customary, financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Robinson, a 6-foot-10, 235-pound center, began this season with the Sacramento Kings, appearing in nine games and averaging 2.1 points, 1.6 rebounds, and 6.3 minutes per contest. The Kings waived him on January 7, but Robinson also showcased his skills in the NBA G League, where he played four games for the Stockton Kings during the Tip-Off Tournament and regular season.

In those four G League appearances, Robinson averaged an impressive 17.0 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 29.2 minutes per game. He scored in double figures in each outing and recorded two double-doubles, highlighting his ability to contribute as both a scorer and rebounder.

The Las Vegas native has logged 76 career NBA games, including eight starts, during stints with the Miami Heat and Sacramento Kings. Over his career, he has averaged 3.1 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 10.3 minutes per game.

Robinson initially entered the league as an undrafted free agent, signing with the Heat in July 2022 after a standout college career at Fresno State. During his junior year, he became only the second player in NCAA history to accumulate at least 700 points, 300 rebounds, and 100 assists in a single season. His performance earned him All-Mountain West First Team honors.
