The Los Angeles Lakers face a crucial matchup against city rivals the LA Clippers tonight with six players listed on their injury report. Both teams are battling for playoff positioning in the Western Conference, but injuries on both sides add uncertainty to this high-stakes game.

Anthony Davis is questionable due to soreness in his right calf, while LeBron James is probable as he continues to manage a left foot injury. Jaxson Hayes is also questionable with right shoulder soreness, and Jalen Hood-Schifino is out due to a left hamstring strain. Jarred Vanderbilt remains sidelined as he recovers from right foot surgery, while Christian Wood is also unavailable, still recovering from left knee surgery.

The Clippers have five players on their injury list. Kris Dunn (left knee soreness), James Harden (illness), Norman Powell (back soreness), and Ivica Zubac (back soreness) are all questionable. Veteran forward P.J. Tucker will not be with the team.

However, two-time NBA champion Kawhi Leonard has been cleared to play and will make just his fifth appearance of the season. Leonard is averaging 12.3 points, 3 rebounds, and 1 assist in 21.3 minutes per game.

The Lakers (22-17) are riding a two-game winning streak, sitting sixth in the Western Conference. They look to close the gap on the Clippers (23-17), who are fifth and enter the game on a three-game win streak.

The game begins at 6:00 PM PST at the Intuit Dome.
