According to Keith Pompey of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Drummond has embraced his responsibilities with a team-first mindset, even as his role has required selflessness and sacrifice.

Reflecting on his career and current priorities, Drummond said, “I’m at a point now where I’ve done everything individually, accolade-wise. A lot of things that guys in this league haven’t done, I’ve done it already, individually. My goal now is to win.

“And whatever capacity that comes in, you know, I’m down to do for the team. Do I want to play more? Of course, who doesn’t want to play more? But that’s not best for the team right now.”

NBA veteran, who signed a two-year, $10 million deal with Philadelphia in the offseason, has demonstrated his readiness to adapt to whatever role the Sixers need him to fill, showcasing both his professionalism and his commitment to winning.

Drummond has played 13 seasons across six teams, including notable stints with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls. Over 887 regular-season games, he has maintained impressive career averages of 12.6 points and 12.2 rebounds per game.

His exceptional rebounding and defensive prowess earned him selections to two All-Star games.
