Joe Cowley of The Chicago Sun-Times provides insight into the recent spike in trade rumors surrounding the Chicago Bulls.

According to a source close to the situation, the only notable shift in the team’s strategy is that they are “starting to look at a more responsible asking price” for their veteran players, including star guard Zach LaVine and center Nikola Vucevic.

This suggests that the Bulls may be willing to listen to trade offers, but with a more realistic perspective on what they should expect in return.

However, Cowley also notes that the Bulls remain steadfast in their stance of not attaching a first-round pick to LaVine in any potential trade scenario.

This indicates that while Chicago is open to exploring trade opportunities, they are still selective in their approach, valuing LaVine’s talent and contract.

The Bulls’ willingness to reconsider their asking prices for key veterans could lead to more trade discussions as the season progresses, but it remains to be seen if they will adjust their terms to make a deal happen.
