Tom Dundon and Joe Cronin, who are overseeing the Portland Trail Blazers’ search for a new head coach, have compiled a wide pool of candidates that includes nearly 20 names, according to Sam Amick of The Athletic.

League sources say the organization has not outlined a clear timetable for when a final decision will be made.

There has also been speculation about Dundon potentially wanting to limit the salary for the next coach to $1.5 million, though those reports remain uncertain.

As Amick notes, Portland has denied that claim, and around the league, the lowest known head coaching salary is believed to be about $2 million, currently tied to Doug Christie of the Sacramento Kings.
