The Minnesota Timberwolves have made it clear they have no interest in trading Donte DiVincenzo, dismissing recent trade speculation.
According to NBA insider Marc Stein, Minnesota is committed to the 27-year-old shooting guard, who was acquired in the Karl-Anthony Towns trade with the New York Knicks earlier this season.
Rumors circulated on X last Friday about DiVincenzo potentially being a trade target for contending teams.
However, Stein reports that Minnesota has been steadfast in its intentions, having pursued DiVincenzo for over a year before finally adding him to their roster.
The Timberwolves’ decision to keep DiVincenzo reflects their long-term commitment to the player. The team, reportedly, is not interested in exploring trade offers for the guard, who is still settling into his role after only three months with Minnesota.
DiVincenzo has contributed solidly this season, averaging 9.5 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.3 assists in 25.9 minutes per game.
The 27-year-old is in the second year of a four-year, $46.8 million contract, giving Minnesota financial flexibility while maintaining a reliable piece for the future.
