LeBron James, now in his 22nd NBA season, continues to defy age with remarkable performances. The 39-year-old superstar recently recorded three straight triple-doubles, showcasing his high-level play despite his career nearing its end.

In a candid admission, James addressed his career’s timeline, acknowledging that his time in the NBA is limited. “I’m not going to play that much longer, to be completely honest,” James said, as reported by Melissa Rohlin.

“I don’t know how many years that is, if it’s one year, if it’s two years, whatever the case may be. But I’m not playing until the wheels fall off.”

James, known for his impeccable basketball IQ and versatility, made it clear that he won’t stay on the floor just for the sake of it. “I’m not going to be the guy who’s disrespecting the game because I just want to be out on the floor,” he explained. “No, that won’t be me.”

The Los Angeles Lakers star is still performing at an elite level this season. Averaging 24.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 9.4 assists in 35 minutes per game, James continues to be a dominant force on both ends of the court.

His ability to maintain such high numbers at 39 is a testament to his longevity and commitment to the game.
