The Phoenix Suns have waived veteran forward Frank Kaminsky, according to NBA insider Michael Scotto. Kaminsky’s departure comes after appearing in four preseason games for the Suns, where he averaged 4.7 points and 3 rebounds in 9.7 minutes per game.

The 31-year-old big man rejoined the Suns in 2024 after spending last season playing overseas for Partizan Belgrade in the EuroLeague. During his time in Europe, Kaminsky posted solid numbers, averaging 8.9 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 1.6 assists in 17.3 minutes per game.

Kaminsky, known for his shooting ability as a stretch forward, has spent eight seasons in the NBA. Over his career, he has averaged 8.8 points per game while shooting 35% from beyond the arc.

This is Kaminsky’s second stint with the Suns, having previously played for the team from 2015 to 2018. During that period, he established himself as a key contributor, capable of playing both forward and center positions.
