NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal has responded to social media rumors sparked by a viral tweet featuring a photo purportedly of him embracing a woman from behind.
The image, which shows a figure too tall for the mirror and only captures the body from the chest down, was tweeted by @SeanTheTerrible with the caption, “Shaq ain’t got no shame… And he needs some. 😂”
On Tuesday, O’Neal addressed the situation with a video on Instagram, showing himself in similar poses with various women to clarify the discrepancies between the viral photo and his actual appearance.
In his video, Shaq also remarked, “Is this my girlfriend too? Trust me, I’ll let y’all know who my woman is. And by the way, my woman’s name is Shaqrah.”
Continuing his response, O’Neal shared another Instagram video stating, “My real girlfriend knows I’m a big black exotic dancer,” reinforcing his typical humorous approach to controversy.
