Myron Gardner has agreed to sign with the Orlando Magic, marking a significant step forward in his professional basketball career. Gardner, who is represented by agent Jake Cohen, went undrafted in the 2023 NBA Draft after playing college basketball at Little Rock. Following the draft, he joined the Osceola Magic, the Orlando Magic’s G League affiliate, for the 2023-24 season.
During his time with the Osceola Magic, Gardner appeared in 31 games, where he posted solid numbers, averaging 4.8 points and 4.3 rebounds per game while playing 15.1 minutes per contest. His performances showcased his potential as a reliable role player, particularly on the boards and in providing energy off the bench.
Gardner’s continued growth was evident when he participated in the 2024 NBA Summer League, where he suited up for the Orlando Magic in three games. In those appearances, Gardner averaged 4.3 points and 3.3 rebounds in 11.1 minutes, demonstrating his hustle and versatility.
Now, Gardner is set to transition to the NBA level with the Magic. His journey from going undrafted to earning an NBA contract reflects his persistence and dedication, and he will look to carve out a role for himself in Orlando’s rotation.
