Dru Smith’s two-way contract is uncertain as he recovers

Dru Smith currently has one of the Miami Heat’s three two-way contracts, but there’s no guarantee he will keep it, according to Ira Winderman of the South Florida Sun Sentinel.

As Smith continues to recover from a knee injury, the team might hold an open competition during training camp to assess his condition and make decisions ahead of the regular season opener on October 23.
