Former NBA guard Mike Bibby has shared insights about his time with the Miami Heat, describing the experience as “different.”
Bibby spoke about his unique situation during the Heatless era, which included stars like LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh.
“It was different man, I wasn’t used to it,” Bibby said on Club 520. He noted that he played around 12 minutes per game and found the experience unusual.
Bibby detailed the strict regimen, including weekly body fat tests and mandatory extra cardio if players did not meet the standards. He also mentioned that players had to weigh themselves weekly.
Additionally, Bibby recounted an unexpected expense, stating that he had to pay for one of his jerseys to take it home.
“I had to pay for one of my jerseys to take my jersey home, I had to pay for my jersey,” he said.
