The Philadelphia 76ers officially signed Guerschon Yabusele, as announced by President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey.

Reportedly, the French forward signed a $2.1 million minimum deal with the team.

Yabusele, a 2024 Olympic silver medalist, joins Philadelphia after a standout performance with France. In the Olympics, he averaged 14.0 points and 3.3 rebounds per game while shooting 51.9% from the field.

Before joining the 76ers, Yabusele played for Real Madrid, winning two Liga ACB championships and a EuroLeague title. Last season, he appeared in 64 games, averaging 9.7 points and 4.0 rebounds per game.

His previous professional experience includes stints with ASVEL, Rouen Métropole Basket, and the Boston Celtics. Yabusele was selected by Boston with the No. 16 pick in the 2016 NBA Draft.

During his time with the Celtics, Yabusele played 74 NBA games and 17 G League games for the Maine Red Claws. He will wear No. 28 for the 76ers.
