Memphis Grizzlies head coach Taylor Jenkins has been very impressed with 2024 second round pick Jaylen Wells out of Washington State.

“Such a versatile player. Love his reads on the offensive side. Obviously a guy that can shoot the ball at a really high level, but something that he showcased to us was playmaking ability off the catch, off the bounce, downhill attacks. He’s a guy that when you do the intel and background work on him, it’s all team-oriented. Same thing on the defensive side, a guy that can be a versatile defender, point of attack defender for us.”
