The Cleveland Cavaliers are bringing J.T. Thor on board with a two-way contract. Thor previously played his first three seasons with the Charlotte Hornets.

Last season, Thor posted averages of 3.2 points and 2.3 rebounds in 12.4 minutes per game for the Hornets. Over the past two seasons, he has participated in 132 games with Charlotte.

Thor has also emerged as a key player for South Sudan’s national team. During the 2024 Paris Olympics, the 6-foot-9 forward averaged 6.7 points and 4.7 rebounds for South Sudan.
